I LOVE film! So much! I grew up with film cameras and my dad is a photographer, so being around a camera was a huge part of my childhood. Don't get me wrong, digital is amazing, for so many obvious reasons, but film is FUN. I've been shooting film for a long time and I'm still learning so much. I also teach high school photography, where half of our year-long curriculum is darkroom based. In the digital era that we are in now, we get instant gratification, and probably too much of it. Film makes you wait, makes you appreciate, and makes you SLOW DOWN. There's something really meaningful about having to work for the outcome.
